Artificial I.

About me

Hi! I am 27 and have been into AI research for 5+ years now. I am currently a first-year PhD student at Politecnico di Milano, working on reinforcement learning in Marcello Restelli‘s lab (consistently well-represented at NeurIPS, ICML). My PhD is funded by the AI4REALNET project.

Previously, I was at the Machine Learning Genoa Center in the group of Lorenzo Rosasco (also at MIT) and Agnese Seminara.

🧠 Intelligence 🧠 to me is just a computational problem. I am working on a formal theory out of this idea. Reach out if you are interested, I am looking for collaborators!

During formative years I interned at CERN and at the National Research Council of Italy. I also attended two editions of the M2L school (sponsored by Google DeepMind) presenting two posters.

Conversation with Professor Alessandro Verri

During my period at MaLGa, I had the pleasure to speak with professor Alessandro Verri about topics such as artificial intelligence, faith, consciousness. Beyond his exceptional career, his humanity has impressed me ever since the first time I met him in his office (he invited me because I wanted to ask some questions about the new Master in AI that was starting in Genoa later that year, 2019).
